Scene Reset Collision Problem

Ok, so I am making a game with a ball that has circular collision. Every time I reset the scene the ball is supposed to fall on a platform and there should be recognition of collision. However, after the scene is reset, the ball simply and literally falls through the platform. PLEASE HELP!

    try setting your platform density to 99999

    Ok, but it collides just fine before the first reset

    Here is what I have found: the ball only successfully collides after reset if it is on the game screen
    If I press reset after the ball has collided with the actor designated to destroy it/interact with it, the ball no longer collides with the platform after reset.

    Could this be an issue with an attribute?
