making a progress bar contingent upon time

okay im trying to make a progress bar thats contingent upon the time... basically i want the actor thats going to be moving in the x postion to reach a small actor labeled "goal" within the certain amount of time... now, i know what youre thinking theres a tutorial that @tshirtbooth did on that a while ago... well his was based off of the character running back and fourth throughout the scene... well i want mines to be based off of time... basically im looking for something like this

throughout the 30 seconds move the actor 1 pixel... for instance if i wanted it to be within fifteen seconds and reach the goal point it would be moving 2 pixels per second and eventually reach the "goal" which will then start the new scene

    Please clarify- do you mean a bar that decreases with the time, as in a timer in bar form? :)

    Interpolate self.position.X to self.newX [30 seconds]

    Is that what you want?
