Apps Downloaded Using A Promo Code Can’t Be Reviewed Anymore?

Anyone know if this is true, I have left reviews with codes before but now i'm trying to leave a review on my own game and I can't do it.??

    ok thanks for quick reply.
    One version of my app is a iphone free version and I downloaded it, when I try to leave a review its says you need to have downloaded or purchased it?
