There is, it's called the "Useful Links" thread.
It was created to keep the forums clear of people spamming the forums with services they want to offer. It was thoroughly abused when it was allowed in the main forums, and quickly got out of hand. It was almost impossible to find people that actually needed help, because of all the self promotions and "advertising"
So the "Useful links" thread was created, and is only moderated by @SaladStraightShooter
@Chakku thanks, I must of missed that @SlickZero why not have a forum where you can advertise all you want, but it's not part of the main forum.

It had it's own section. It just became a post and thread war between the people offering services so their posts/threads would always stay on top of the list. It was shameless, to put it mildly.
Nobody ever used it, except for the people selling services, and it was decided that it was best to do away with it, and create a special section where SSS was the only one who could add someones service to the thread so it would not go out of control.
