Issue with Universal Build icons on Retina iPad

Hey guys. I've been doing quite a bit of work recently porting over older games to be universal when I noticed a stark difference in quality of icons when being built as a Universal Build.

I noticed how fuzzy it appeared, so I tested it out by generating the app as an iPad build and the icon (as you can see) came out quite a bit sharper than the universal build.

The icons look great on the phone displays, but the icon generated for the iPad build seems to have problems. Maybe it's only creating the icon for the original iPad and iPad 2 resolution?

Has anyone else encountered this problem?

Note: The project file I used is set for iPhone Landscape in Creator.

    This is in reference to the icon files in the .app package created by GameSalad and submitted through the online publishing process. The Icon submitted to Apple through iTunes Connect has no issues, but that also doesn't affect the actual binary submitted to them. The icon on every other device I've tested works great other than on my retina iPad.
