custom keyboard space bar

hello guys,
I have my letters being stored in a table, however I cant seem to get the space bar working

im having my letters show in one actor.
i.e.
TableCellValue(Table1,1,1)..TableCellValue(Table1,1,2)
etc

but, the space bar isn't showing a space when I press it, although it IS "skipping" the column in the table.
anyone know why?

Hey @brendanzh926
You have to hold option when you hit with space when you are typing it into your table. For some reason gamesalad only reads option space for text attributes. Try that and let me know if it doesn't work man.

I gave up on getting a space to work using a text value and just moved the cursor a certain number of pixels when the spacebar actor is pressed. I'd love to know if there's a better way but that was my workaround.
