PRO pre-purchase question...

I have made a game with the free version of Gamesalad that was designed to have in-app purchases. I always intended to upgrade to PRO once I had the game closer to being ready... what I didn't know is that I can't publish an iPhone game from the Windows creator. (Even though it says so in the download page, I know now!)

So now I have a game developed in the Windows creator, that needs in-app purchases (that I don't think are supported for Android).

If I go PRO will I have the option to use both gamesalad in Windows AND Mac, or do I have to decide which one to purchase?

Can I use my windows-created project on a friends' Mac and publish to the App store from it?

Pro version of GameSalad covers both Windows and Mac. So when you buy Pro once, you have all the Pro features on both Windows and Mac platforms. And yes, you will need to use a Mac to submit your game to the Apple App Store. It needs to be converted to a Mac version. I believe it's as simple as opening the Windows version on the Mac, and then saving it again on the Mac, then that is the file you will need to publish through the GameSalad publishing portal, and submit to Apple.

Your account is tied to your PRO status :) remember how you can login to Creator using your GS account? In other words, yes you unlock PRO features in both versions.

Technically anything made in Windows has a high chance of seamlessly converting over to the Mac version of GS. A few quirks might pop up in some places, so QA in Windows then QA once again with the Mac version.

And yes, you can do that. But you have to install your developer certificates to his machine..

You have to have a Mac to make iPhone, iPad games. The windows version only lets you make for android.

Gamesalad does not support IAP at the moment for android :(

As far as using your friends Mac, I think you have to download the creator on their Mac and republish it on his Mac, for it to work right.
