Pausing + Timer Breaks Game

Hello! I'm nearing 80% completion of my Scrabble like game and I've run into a problem with the timer and pausing.

The game currently checks the words perfectly when submitting via double clicking... however after pausing the game, the game registers each click as if I'm trying to submit it, so each click is giving an error.

    Yes the pause behavior is problematic. It seems to be a bug.

    Unfortunately, if you're doing a lot of overlay of scenes, you'd need to figure out a way to replace those (e.g. changing self.color.alpha or interpolating position so they slide onto the scene).

    That makes sense and at least a solution is possible. Time to get do some more research!

    Yeah this one is killing our pause/return to "working" functionality, now we have to have a incredibly complex pause string just to keep the game from breaking when you unpause (we have a lot going on, so that does not help).
