So, while Flip Runner is in Beta, I've been revisiting the "Chromachines" game mechanic.

I decided it should be cleaner and simpler. This is what I whipped up in a couple of hours. Once Flip Runner is out I'm going to take my time with the level system in this game so it gracefully and unexpectedly ramps up in difficulty as you play.

Match the BG color with the Line color to prevent you heart from breaking!

It actually functions but there is no ramp up in place to it's impossible to lose unless you just stop tapping buttons. :P

Right now the game has 5 images and I only expect there to be 4 or 5 more. The size of the project is under 500kb and I fully expect it to stay under 2MB by the time it's done (hopefully under 1MB).

    @mounted88 - It would appear so but, when the level system is set up, it's going to get difficult. The lines right now spawn at random colors and never repeat the same color twice. Imagine that with variable speeds and spacing. :) Also thinking about throwing in some particle effects to jazz it up a bit.

    I like the colors and the letter fonts, not sure I understand what the game is but I like the look.

    @BazookaTime - Yeah, should have explained this better. The lines come down from the top of the screen. You make the screen color match the line color, effectively making it disappear so it can't touch your heart. As your score goes up, for each line you pass, the game gets more difficult.

    Ugh, took a half hour this morning to drop in my level spawn/speed attributes for 12 levels (the 12th being endless) and I think i accidentally made this thing super hexagon hard. I have trouble passing level four!

    I know that feeling! I hate it when I go showing my friends my game and I cannot beat the level I created. =)) They give me weird looks.

    Anyway, I really like the feel of the graphics, man. Stylish!

    @deadlyseriousmedia so is this kinda like guitar hero, in aspect that when a line comes down you have to hit the same color on the bottom to make it disappear? Is that about right?

    @SnapFireStudios Thanks! Don't think I'll need beta on this one though. There's very little code/work that was put into this game. I could rebuild this thing from nothing in 4-5 hours.

    Not much room for bugs in a, now, 158 kb game. :)

    Looks great. Perhaps a nice touch would be that the buttons switch position at some point in the game, or keep switching every x seconds. Just a thought. :)>-

    @YoRooster Thanks! And yeah, it does often ramp up quick outta nowhere! :>

    @VeiraGames Is this GC or Twitter. Twitter not functioning properly has been reported to me and a fix has already gone to Apple. GC appears to be working, if not I'll look into what might be causing it to not work consistently.

    @DeadlySeriousMedia Posting to GC not working :( I downloaded it last night soon I saw your twitter and the first score I did was 95, I posted that and it worked fine. Today I have scored about 102 and that didn't post and now I scored 176 and still nothing.

    Also I told my friend to get this cause he likes these kind of games but he ain't showing up on GC.

    Other than that the game is great!

    Hmmm, I'll try and add a slight timer delay after the button press and make cure the action runs to completion. I'll get that out to apple today! Thanks for letting me know! Glad you like it. :D

    Not sure what this means...what are collections? Is it those medium size icons in the app store that have "fun runners" or "essential games" and stuff?
