Solution to missing iPad icon?

Hi, this was brought up a few months ago now, with a few people experiencing this problem (including myself): the app icon on the iPad (possibly other iDevices too) showing as blank, i.e just white (downloaded from iTunes).

Someone gave the solution so that the icon showed OK... but I can't remember what that was! Any memory-jolts welcome, thanks (as long as they doesn't involve electricity...)

Was it: make sure the project screenshot was set... or more likely, make sure the icon jpeg is included in the GameSalad Publishing? (Not sure why either of these should effect the icon in iTunes Connect from showing or not though....)

Thoughts/solution anyone?

I think the icon you put in publisher is for mobile devices (icon). While the one you upload in iTunes connect is for iTunes on a computer. Just a thought

Thanks for your reply, @mounted88 - so by the sound of it, I missed putting the icon in the GameSalad Publishing part.... (didn't think that mattered, the icon uploaded to iTunes Connect I thought was all that was needed)...

I'll make sure that goes in for my app update and fingers crossed that'll sort it then. Thanks again. :-)

If anyone can confirm this, just to be on the safe side....

Yeah I'm not 100% about this. The only reason I think that, is because I used a different program(not saying) before to make games and we had to include the icon within the code before we uploaded it to iTunes connect. If we didn't we got the white icon of death also.

Had the same issue, just updated the publishing page and re-submitted the app and all was good
