Score randomly increases when it's not supppose to.

Hi, so I am making an iOS game and when I test it out on my phone over time the score will randomly go up without me interfering. I cannot find where the glitch is in my code. Please help, thanks!

Change the Mouse Position is Inside rule to Touch is Inside rule.

The mouse position is getting set when your touch the screen and then staying the same while the cat moves around, so whenever it passes that position again, the score goes up.

on your cat actor change the score rule to (actor receives event > touch > inside) That seems to work for me where its not going up without touching the cat.

@mounted88 and @tatiang I did that and inside the GS viewer it is still doing the mouse position even though I changed the method to touch and saved it. Please help =\

@drakee510 after I changed it, I tired it in the viewer and it works fine. Then I went and closed the viewer. When you close it out completely it will ask you to save. Then just hit save. That should work just fine, if it doesn't save again let me know and ill send your file back to you.

@mounted88 So I tried and I deleted the whole game.score+5 rule block and IT STILL CHANGES even though in the rules there is nothing telling it to do that!!!

You didn't have to delete anything. Take a look at the pic and you will see what you need to change.

Most likely you have unlocked the actor in the scene and created an instance with its own rules. Try deleting the actor from the scene and then adding it again.

@mounted88 The problem was I deleted the rule saying to change the score and it was still changing the score (I GHOST :o)
@tatiang Thanks! That worked, I am about ready to publish :)
