Background Image Issue when testing.

Hello, designing a game for ios, my background is a crisp looking black and white image 640x960. It looks great and plays well in game salad, but when I test on my iphone and ipad, the background image distorts and the area of game play is slightly reduced at the bottom of the screen, I'm missing about the 50 or so pixels in height. Any help or advise?

In gamesalad make sure the image position is 320x480. If you just dragged the image on the screen it might look ok, but probably is either to high or to low and it will show up when playing on a device.

    Are you using 'overscan' ?

Are you using the GS iOS Viewer app or an Ad Hoc? :-/ If you are using the viewer then stop. It is horrible. Use an Ad Hoc instead. You get much better results. The same thing happens to me with my apps when I test with the viewer.

The image quality issue was resolved. However still not getting to see the full size of the image on the iphone. The image I used was 640x960, once in GS it converts the actor to 320x480, but still cant see the last 50 width or so at the bottom and some of my actors are falling into the void. I'm using gsviewer. I'll mess with adhoc, haven't set it up.

sorry, forgot to add that I was using overscan as well. With overscan off, I can see everything but get black boarders, which I don't want once I release this game in the ap store.
