I'm planning on making a sidescroller for iphone this summer. I have a ton of questions. If someone could add me on skype it would greatly help.

    A great place to start is the Forums FAQs (see link in my signature below). Asking someone for Skype help before you have a good understanding of GameSalad can be a waste of time. It's better if you've dabbled in the software and then can generate a (shorter) list of questions.

    Start there. You may also want to tackle an easier game first (no game is easy to make). This will get your feet wet with gamesalad and then go for the platformer. There are a lot of templates out there as well that will help you like crazy. Good luck and this community is pretty good with help as well.

    I used this video and the series following it to learn the basics of GameSalad before beginning my platformer, and it helped a lot.
