IN tenrdrmers video tutorial and in the Cookbook. Its mention to place the SDK folder in the "Home Directory" Tenr even shows the lil home icon in his video. Well My mac isnt showing this Home Directory or home Icon. So where is this home directory?

ok I have 2 users for this mac. and the gs creator is on the 2nd user. and the 2nd user doesnt have the home directory. But the original user does. This is when Im opening a Finder window. Will GS connect to the home directory if its in the 2nd login users account.

You actually have to point GS at the SDK in GS preference not sure on yours how that will work I only have one user like below.

    /Users/mycompter/sdk/platform-tools/adb

    1. Double click your harddrive on the desktop
    2. Double click the "Users" folder
    3. Drag the little house icon over into the "Favorites" menu on the left menu panel.

Your "Home" folder is now in the favorites, and will be there on the left when you open any folder.

I don't think it really matters where it is, as long as you can find it and configure gamesalad to point there.

I have just reset my mac mini back to factory setting. I am running 10.7.5 I am offically starting from scratch when it comes to installing GS ,Xcode, Android SDK, GSViewer.. etc etc.

In regards to my previous issue in this post.

Slickzero.. I do not have a hardrive icon on my desktop

jonmulcahy..since it doesnt matter where I install the sdk. Can you instruct me on where to store the SDK folder. And how to tell GS where it is?

Yeah I don't understand why Apple now hides the hard drive.

I installed the SDK and I placed it in the home directory. I went to GS preferences and aimed to to the sdk folder? When I open up any project. It says theres and issue with the ndk and sdk.
