GS Forum App?

I know it's already been suggested, but it's been awhile since Ive seen anything about it. What are the chances of having a dedicated Gamesalad forums app, similar to the TouchArcade one? Im sure most of us would like to see one as long as it doesn't interfere with development of the creator!

    Would be cool, But vanilla is very co,pat inks with mobile devices - it's not necessary

    I think it would be cool to have something like that so you could receive alerts when there is something added, with an option to filter of course...

    @Wboko, you can follow threads here and get an alert email when new posts are added by clicking the star at the top right of the forum thread... in case you didn't know.

    The site is hosted by Vanilla so I think they would need to make the app.

    yeah I gotta agree. the mobile site is pretty sufficient. you can even save it as a book mark on your home screen to give you the feel of an app if its that important to ya. but I wouldn't use an app. its just more space on my phone thats not needed. the mobile site works great and I can get email alerts for anything I want to be alerted on

    Mobile site works fine, aside from more typos from me with my big fingers on the phone. No need to focus on something like that. An App that offers the something already available that will require more updates and man hours to keep up with web version is just not practical.

    If you want a short cut to GS, just add the forums page to the home screen and your done.

    I asked the same question about a year ago (when I was a GS newbie) and got the exact same response. If you want, I can make a configuration profile that adds a shortcut to your homescreen. (but it instead has a nice icon ;) )
