To post images you first need to host them somewhere (dropbox, tinypic, imageshack etc). Then use this in your forum post:

    <*img src="URL_OF_WHERE_THE_IMAGE_IS_HOSTED.png">

(Remove the * symbol above to make it work).

As for videos, there's plenty of screen capture software around, which will record the gameplay while you're testing it within Gameslad Creator. If you're on a mac you can use quicktime to capture the video this way. Then you'll need an editor like apple iMovie to cut the recorded footage together in to a promo.

To record my gameplay from my Macintosh I use Screenflow. I use it to both capture and edit the videos.

Is there an easy way to hide the mouse from the vid?

There's usually a setting somewhere within the screen capture software that controls whether or not to record the mouse pointer. Probably not all screen capture software has this option but most decent ones should.

cool thanks. Looks like Quicktime does not have this option but others do.

I use QuickTime screen recording, and downloaded a app that made the mouse pointer a finger. Turns out pretty good.

Also I would make sure to have everything closed on your computer when doing a screen record. It will help you from having a laggy video.

In Screenflow you can hide the mouse cursor or change it to a different shape/color/opacity.

If you get a program called reflector for your Mac you can use the airplay built into I devices to display your idevice on your Mac screen reflector will record you playing your game on your device plus you can choose to show it in the device in either white or black or just have raw footage. This is easier than screen flow and you can import the footage into whatever video editing software you use. Like iMovie.

But this doesn't work with iPhone 4 and below. Only iPhone 4S/5 can do that.

@FryingBaconStudios that sounds like a great way to do it :)

Yeah, I usually have updated my tech. I try not to fall that far behind as I need to know how my stuff performs on the latest stuff.

True, but the way I see it is if it works on the a4 chips. Then it should run like a pro on the a5 and a6 chips :)

True but to me tech is always about being on the cutting edge. I'd rather be on the cutting edge than the bleeding edge. I subscribe to the Walt Disney, the man, school of thought he always moved on the cutting edge regarding tech advancements and ideas. I prefer to be there as this is where true creativity lives always on the edge with radical ideas and concepts.
