Minecraft Art Style In Game

I want to use Minecraft art style in game. I do not want to use blocks just want to use that type of art and texture in my game. I have talked to @Braydon_SFX and we discussed that there are lots of games and apps related to minecraft. But I want to make sure before start doing that.

Anyone have idea about terms for using it?

    I would think it's mostly fine as long as you don't do a complete copy. It could be allowed, but I just think that's a bad idea... Since you said the art will not be blocks, then I would say go for it...

    If you want to use the art-style above, I don't see any problems. Many games use pixelart. And beside, I don't think that the art in the picture above is not even close to minecraft(in my opinion)

    Yes, Minecraft doesn't own Pixelart :P
    As long as you don't copy exactly their textures, you'll be fine. Porbably a good idea to do something a little different with your game though.

    Unless you copy the art directly from their game to yours there will be no problem.
