File Size much larger after publishing (60mb vs 103mb) - Normal??

Hi All.

My GS game file shows about 60mb inside GS. However, after publishing, the size of the downloaded file is about 103 mb. Is this normal - or should the files be the same size?

do you have retina enabled? That will cause it, when you publish it it creates the low res graphics which can increase the file size.

Yes - that was turned on initially when I began this project. Should I turn this off?

When I began, I initially targeted iphone 4 (480x320). Does it even make since to turn this on since all of my graphics are made for 480x320 screen res.?

    Thanks

I will be rebuilding the entire app with Universal support. With the new Universal feature, is it necessary to choose the resolution indep. option?

I don't think that Resolution Independence is a requirement for UB, but I'm pretty sure you have to have it for Crop Mode/Overscan.

For iPhone I don't think we need the low res anymore because anything that runs iOS 5 is retina device on iPhone. Although, just looked the 3GS runs 5 and is not retina.
