How to fix Developer Identity Problem?

in iPhone and Android Publishing
okay, so now when I "click here" when I generate the app in the web publisher it brings me to a window that asks for provisioning profile, i select it, then click continue and this message pops up. Could not code sign because there is no developer identity matching the selected provisioning profile. How do I fix it?

    Did you create a developer certificate and provisioning profile (as well as a distribution certificate and profile)?

    I just went through the process - creating two certificates and two provisioning profiles.

    you also must make sure that the bundle ID you type into the publishing portal matches the installed provisioning profile.

    -- matches in what way? I've just created a new profile with this same name as the Bundle ID and it didn't help... I've created dozens of profiles with different settings - nothing helps :(

    Make sure you refresh Xcode profiles. Make sure you have the current version of Xcode
