Can't get images, actors or any rules to show up / work

I just started with the "Gamesalad Creator" software a coupple of days ago, and I have tried to make a coupple of things, on all my four windows computers, and every time I try to do something, it bugs out! This is really irritating! Here is one example. I try to make a new actor and when I do so, I add the image to the actor, and try to drag it onto the screen. The first bug I have, is when I try to drag the actor onto the screen, it won't work. I can drag it out like 15 times, but it doesn't show up on the screen. Then I go onto the layers section, where there are showing 15 items on the list under the background layer, but still doesn't show up on the screen. I made it so that I can drag one of the "layers" onto the screen, and it will show up and I place it in the right position (I check the x and y axic), but when I preview the project, the picture is not showing in the right place, and usually you can barrely see some of the picture.

Here you can see what I mean by the picture is not in the correct place, and here is a picture of what it looks like before I preview.

As you can see, everything shoud work, I guess. It would be really nice with some help! Thank you!

np :D also if you change to color to orange (or something) and in preview its black, then its the same bug... you only can have full green, blue, red, white or black. (full blue is red=0 blue=255 green=0)

But now when I try to place my character, It won't appear, even if I remove the .5 at the end of the position!

hmm... is the rotation a full number? is the color 1 color?
is it visible in the editor? or only not visible in preview?

It is visible in the editor, and BTW, it is a image, so I'll guess the thing with the color is not something here. Only visible in the editor.

you still can change the color when its an image, so its still possible this is the problem...
and what about the rotation? it also has to be a full number

Yes, the rotation should be a full number

hmm... if everything I said is good, then I dont know the problem...

    @Blu_Tech,

the Windows version ignores your regional settings, that is, the decimal "," and "." are swapped from how Gamesalad expects them. Thus the decimal places get added to the whole number, 200.55 becomes 20 055 making the actors be waaay off screen.

You can change these regional settings specifically.
Open the Windows Control Panel. Go to Regional Options, and change the Numbers and Currency settings.

This works, you just probably need to change it back for other Programs.

@CodeWizard, please let the Windows version respect the Regional setting. Tnx

It was brought up here as well:

Well my main problem is still that I can't drag items onto the screen!

in the upper right corner you can see the position, when there is a number above the 1000 then delete the last number (so when its 1634 then make it 163) and when you cant see him in preview and your to lazy to open the actor and delete the .5 you also can make (in the upper right corner) the x and y position 1 more, this should also delete the .5 but its less work :)

I've been struggling with same issues and as timolapre said Atleast color, position and size attributes MUST be without decimals, and with drag and drop they'll get crazy values, so they need to be adjusted manually.
Is there a way to convert (make it windows compatiple) these programmatically, by going through all the critical values and removing decimals. This windows version is very raw and to be honest almost unusable.

If you follow my instructions, and change your regional settings as described, then all is good ...

... and then this is not quite true. The windows version is far from perfect, but still a viable option.

Yeah, but I can't like... Eh, find the regional settings, cause I don't have English language on the computer!
