Exact Way Point Movement with Stopping... ?

So I am wanting to recreate a fun game I saw and enjoyed playing... TBH off top of my mind I can't remember the name of it... lol but essentially I am using ORBz Waypoint Demo.
In the game the character is following perfectly linear movement and if you press the screen the player stops to avoid obstacles etc... now i have this all down easy... using accelerate like in the Demo... however, this is not the exact effect because the player kind of rounds the waypoints and makes like a half circle turn to the next waypoint... essentially not straight lines which is what i want... what ways can i do to make the player move at a constant speed and and turn on the dime 90 degrees cause 90 degree turns on the dime is what i need, none of this rounding the corners lol

Instead of using that accelerate expression, why not just use the Move or Move To behaviors? That way you'll gt a nice straight line directly to the waypoint and the tank like actor won't round the waypoints.

I feel like i tried this but i cant remember the result. I will have to try it when i get home.. Can move and move to be interrupted tho where I can completely stop movement while touching the screen? If so then it should work fine. Ill post results when i am able to!

Yes, use the move behavior with stacked option selected.
