3rd post in 3 days ... Help will be nice..

I've seen a couple of posts on here (including myself) who will announce a gamesalad, give vouchers ask for feedback get nothing.. (Two posts) an admin will post a game and there's 1000 posts, how can anyone know how good they're game is if even fellow gamesalad members don't help us, once again any feedback will be helpful on these games.

It's a game where the bird spawn, each bird has different points, avoid bee's and bombs, first GS game.

Here is the main reason but maybe not in every case. There is a trend around here of people getting offended by honest feedback. Those who usually do give honest feedback tend to get labeled a bad guy or insensitive so you can blame the general culture of the forums for this. So what happens is if people don't like your game or think it's just not that good they will say nothing so in essence this is your feedback. If you don't get any feedback there is an 80% chance your game sucks.

I would agree. I tend not to offer feedback because it'll only end up with the reviewer suffering abuse.

As a new member myself, with around 20-30 posts, I've spent more time asking for help and getting my feet wet browsing, more so than being an individual who can actively contribute (I hope to get there). So with that said, I wouldn't really expect to join, ask a few questions, then get a flood of feedback on my game when I announce it. Admins are heavy heavy contributors. Admins are flooded with responses because they've probably helped 98% of the people on the board at one point. I definitely take note of the individuals who have helped me in hopes of returning the favor one day. That's why it's a community.

Your game and concept looks interesting. I didn't download it, because...just going to be honest...the art style isn't my thing. Good luck though!

My momma told me if I ain't got nothing nice to say don't say anything at all.

And I promise you that sentiment is carried deeply in this forum as well.

I was removed as a moderator for that vary reason. I called things like I saw them and even though it was true and everyone agreed. It just was not a very nice thing to say.

Now as far as your posts no idea. I have not seem them or looked at your game. I usually won't take a code if the game doesn't look that great. And after playing if it wasn't well then I won't post any more about it usually. God forbid we tell someone the truth.

So take that as you will but if your not getting feedback it's a possibility people just don't wanna hurt your feelings.

Me Persians I'd rather you tell me my game sucked so I don't spend 6 months on the next one having learned nothing from the first.

    Cheers

    I'm not 13 years old,
I'm 22, I'd rather you say my game is !@#$%, and be honest than oh it's cool when it's not..
