The Magic Castle - Adventure Game (coming soon...)

Well, we all seem to be at it right now - creating adventure games!
So I thought I should also announce my latest work in progress: The Magic Castle.

Set on a long forgotten island, the spirit of a once great sorcerer needs your help to return magic to the land...

The game will use a similar inventory system to my previous games (Spooky Manor, Mystery Lighthouse etc.) but also has special magical items which will effect the world itself.

I'm just trying to remain motivated to get it complete now!

    @jonmulcahy - Cheers, I've been dying to share a few images for ages now!
    Hopefully just a few more weeks and it'll be ready to go.

    @Braydon_SFX - thanks. I've been working with an artist on this project, and then just doing the simpler images and animation cycles etc myself.

    @firemaplegames - Thanks Joe, needless to say the feeling is mutual! Hope Mosaika isn't far off now??

    @artfish - Great, thank you Eric. Haven't had chance to play The Curse of Shadow House yet because I've been so busy!.. but have been keeping an eye on how it's doing. It's good to see all the aftercare you've provided and I'm sure it'll do real good for you when it's back out there.

    It looks great @DigiChain you did great job with all your games. But I was very disappointed with escape from the dead. Its 15mins game play and then says more level coming soon. Is there any hope for coming updates in escape from the dead?

    @creativeapps - Yes, I remember you being unimpressed with Escape from the Dead. I do actually have 2 more chapters for it fully planned out, but The Magic Castle has eaten up all my time recently.

    Even a small game like Escape from the Dead took a couple of months and hundreds of hours to create, so I have to plan my time carefully - and I have to fit this all in around the day job too!...

    So, first priority now is to finish The Magic Castle.
    After that I may look back at Escape from the Dead (if I think the demand is there for further episodes), or I may just take a well needed break!

    WIP UPDATE:

    I've just spent the past few days working on the sound design and effects, and it's all sounding pretty sweet! Just waiting for some voice over recordings now.

    Visually it's almost there, just tweaks and a couple of animation loops to go. Phew!
    So fingers crossed it'll be ready for release by the end of the month (iOS 7 support permitting!).

    Looks great, have you used matt painting technique or free draw like your other games ?

    @blackpumpkin - I've worked with a talented artist on this new game. The artwork uses a mix of matt painting from photos, digital painting and simple 3D modelling.
