Scenes not showing up in project preview

in Working with GS (Mac)
Normally there is an option to skip to different scenes in the Preview window, however, they are not appearing for some reason. I have a total of 4 different scenes currently and for some reason they are not showing up..

Does anyone know why this is happening? I have a picture to better explain what is going on.

    I don't want to sound like an IT professional but have you tried closing GameSalad and re-opening, maybe even "switching it off, and back on again"? :)

    I remember seeing a fix for this, but honestly do not remember how and can't find it. I have the same problem where there is no preview icon for each scene and I know there is a way to set it. I'd love to know how as well...
