I sent an email to Gamesalad Support 6 days ago and no response. So I´m writting this here:

My GameSalad PRO license expires last month and for now I´ve working in my new game with another engine (Unity). But there´s some updates that I have to do in my past Gamesalad projects. I do not have interest in start a new project with Gamesalad by now so pay for 1year is out of question. It´s possible to purchase 3 or 6months of PRO just to work out on this updates?

Thanks in advance and sorry my English.

1 year subscriptions is all they have.

The trouble with short term subscriptions is that everybody would just do the majority of their work in the free version, then purchase the shortest-term subscription just to add pro features and publish. Gamesalad would *likely* earn less, so I can't see it ever happening.

I say *likely* as there is always the chance that ten times more people would buy the short term subscriptions than currently buy year long subscriptions, so perhaps it would be more worthwhile for Gamesalad...

I would actually appreciate a 3 year subscription plan, and get X % off the 2 extra years.

edit: Actually, who am I to talk? I'm taking post-graduate studies and as such, have always been using the student plans of Studica and getting 50% 53% off :D
.. @mmzbr you might want to look into that if you haven't yet.

This is what it takes to be in business, it's called overhead. Overhead is the cost of maintaining a business. Gamesalad has overhead needs to meet with yearly subscriptions. You have overhead to maintain your apps. Having a 5 year business plan is a must as it requires one to think about these issues and have a long term plan to meet them.

yeah I really fail to see shorter subscription plans benefiting GameSalad.
