MAJOR PROBLEM!

I have had some big problems with game salad in the past week since I upgraded to the Basic version. Tonight marks the 4th time in the past 2 weeks that GameSalad has made my mac completely crash! I know this for a fact by reading crash logs and because it is the ONLY application open when my mac crashes. Before using the software I had no problems but now randomly while Im using the software a grey screen comes up and tells me I have to restart my computer. No saving, and the whole keyboard, mouse, and mac are all frozen.

I was looking forward to having a great time developing apps with game salad but so far all its given me is troubles! I have no clue what the problem is but I live in fear when I open up the program not knowing when it might crash my computer and may eventually cause permanent data loss.

I would love if an administrator could contact me at iluveunc@yahoo.com because I really think I deserve to get something for my troubles! I will send crash logs, pictures, whatever to prove this is right but so far GameSalad has made my life in game development horrid! Please contact me soon because I wasted 100 bucks for this program if it isnt fixed!

    Welcome to the wonderful world of beta! Seriously though you are not alone. I have had the kernel panics, the grey screen of restart and other odd freezes with no more than previewing a single actor scene - please see this thread and add to it with your configuration info:

    You are a lucky, lucky man Tshirt - I am an intel iMac myself.

    Yea, what are your machine specs?CPU /ram / operating system version?

    Also, how long do you have it open when it crashes.

    The program is usually only open for about 15 or 20 minutes. It is an Intel based mac running Snow Leopard. It has 4GB DDR3 RAM, 1TB HD, it is on Snow Leopard with the latest version: 10.6.3 and I have a 3.66 Ghz processor. I just bought the mac in January so its definitely not old. I just got off the phone with apple earlier today and they said to contact the software developer because he looked at everything and determined it was indeed GameSalad.

    @iluveunc your are getting what is called a kernel panic which is a pretty serious state of affairs. It is a problem that only some of us seem to be getting and I'm sure GS are on the case but are keeping pretty quiet about it. Have a look here http://gamesalad.com/forums/topic.php?id=5619

    @iluveunc,
    What is the graphics card? That might be the same issue in another post. (See the thread posted by Rob2).

    Now that we have possibly narrowed it down with the information you all have given us, we hope to have this fixed by the next release.
