INDIE GAME DESIGNER! We need you!

I have been looking all around for @indiegamedesigner 's work. He gave a lot of free images/artwork to this community but after he shut down his website he has stopped posting. They would be of real help to everyone I'm sure, especially with a lot of new faces around these parts. Does anyone have the images he gave out free to this community via: http://forums.gamesalad.com/discussion/9368/free-art-and-graphics-assets-backgrounds-art-packs-etc/p1

Or perhaps knows how to contact him?
I can't find anything. Even tried using some placeholder mini versions I scavenged and running them in a google image search to no avail.

Others have also been asking about this...
@blue_elephant

Many thanks for any help on this,
Max

    Why not go to website?
    Oh wait. It's down ;(

    I have only a few of his things, and they are long sense buried on my computer.
    WayBack Machine on his website doesn't include images :( (http://archive.org)

    No luck, unless he responds or someone has a bunch of his stuff.

    So "technically", you could send files back and forth or Skype or similar. Personally, if the website is down, I would consider it all fair game. It's not like he would not want you to give access to the stuff that he made, I'm sure he would be appreciative.

    @bjandthekatz Okay. But know that the website is dead doesn't that not apply anymore? it seems like he would rather have more people use his files and give credit than be this unshareable files that were once open to the public. I don't know, you guys probably know more about this than I do so i'll leave it to you.
    cheers!

    @SnapFireStudios Ye, I tried wayback timemachine too, to no avail :(
    I have to agree with @blue_elephant, surely that contract is not legally binding as where it is written no longer exists!
    I don't want to do something @bjandthekatz is uncomfortable with, but I see no reason not to share the images, as they were made for the good of the internet.

    Even thoug the site is down, he still owns the content. Copyrights and all that stuff dosen't end just because of that i think.

    @Dues, you're right. Copyrights have no barring on the existence of a website or not. If the document says he doesn't want you sharing the files directly, you shouldn't share them directly under any circumstances.

    @Dues Possibly, I don't know for sure, I'm not a lawyer.

    But I think its pretty safe to say if he did not issue any sort of communication before he shut down his enterprise, I think he would be the last person to care whether we shared it in this closed community, which he was a part of, or not.

    @JagonApps that might be the case.

    But that dosen't change the fact that he still owns the copyright, and he also did make it very clear that direct upload isn't allowed.

    Another possible case is that he sold the site with content and copyrights. If thats the case someone else has the copyright and probably dosen't want someone to upload his/her stuff directly. He/she might even want to charge something for it.

    Just my thoughts :)

    I don't want to share his property without his permission. If his terms say don't upload then you should follow those. He could have sold his assets or change the website. Copyright remain with the owner (Even if the website is down) as a website can not retain property.

    Ok then, unless @indiegamedesigner actually turns up himself sometime, looks like its a no-goer! @debugdesign thanks for the resource, I'll definitely check that out.

    Paul here, I was part of IndieGameDesigner.com while it was up and running.

    I have a new website of my own, OpenStockProject.com and I'll be putting loads of free game assets on it. I'll add and re-link as much of the old IndieGameDesigner.com content as I can.

    Sorry the game assets have been unavailable for so long - you can read about what happened with IndieGameDesigner.com in my blog.
