a big hello to everyone
Hi all, new to game salad and even developing games, i think i have some cracking ideas so hopefully can understand tutorials to get these games up and running.
appreciate any tips where to start any reputable sites to buy templates etc or even some graphics software to even have a go at doing my own. I am complete novice so go easy please.

For templates I would recommend http://GsHelper.com and http://DeepBlueApps.com
They both have amazing templates to get you off to get a good start.
For graphics a free program is Inkscape: http://inkscape.org/download/?lang=en
and a great free graphics site is http://OpenGameArt.org
Some tutorials to follow are: https://www.youtube.com/user/Tshirtbooth/videos
Do note that you'll need access to a Mac (or OS X, at the very least) to publish for iOS or Mac.
Welcome!
Welcome to the forums.

Welcome to the wonderland that is the 'GameSalad Forum'.
Lots to learn, but nothing too tricky... some of the stuff people are creating now a days is incredible. Good luck and see you about the forum.
as mentioned before, check out www.DeepBlueApps.com ... also check out their 3rd party developers.. I'm one of them... I've got a few freebies on my site too.
I have a video linked below that compares the Macintosh to the Windows interface, that might help you make sense of a lot of the tutorials that are online since they are often done using the Macintosh version of GS.

Can't wait to see what you come up with!
