Updated Xcode, Now Can't Load Provisioning Profiles.

fogartyfogarty Member, PRO Posts: 181
I've never had problems making ad hocs before, but I just updated Xcode and now none of my provisioning profiles show up.

I made sure I had the command line tools installed. I've shut down and restarted. I plugged in my device and tried to manually install the provisioning profile by clicking "add" at the bottom and nothing happens. I made sure my device is on the provisioning profile. When I start from scratch and double click on the provisioning profile I've downloaded, Xcode opens, but nothing else happens.

I watched this video, and I'm doing everything they say to do:

Can anyone help?

There is a piece of software you can download to manage them.....provisioning file manager or some such....do a search on the forum as I found a link to it but no longer have it.

Hey @Fogarty and @lycettebrose, if you haven't discovered this already, in the new Xcode to see your provisioning profiles and Identifiers you need to click on "Xcode" in the top left banner of your computer, scroll down to "Preferences", select the "Accounts" tab, make sure your Apple ID is added then select "View Details..." on the bottom right side and this is where you can find your provisioning profiles and signing ID's and refresh them. Hope that helps if you didn't already figure this out.

Thanks, @KillerPenguinStudios. Your way worked. I had to refresh my provisioning profiles and then create a new one, and *that* worked. (Even though I can see my old profiles, GS doesn't seem to recognize them when it comes time to choose your profile.)

    Thanks again. Big help.

Not a problem @fogarty! I'm glad I could help and glad it's working for you now!

Hmmm, that is interesting @lycettebros. First I would make sure that everything is up to date and current in your 'Keychain Access'. Also, after you go into 'Xcode'-> 'Preferences'-> 'Accounts', Select your Apple ID and remove it. Then re-add it. Hopefully that will work. If that doesn't work then maybe try removing Xcode completely and re-downloading and re-installing it. Hope that helps!

Thanks. I deleted the accounts and reloaded still got the error. I am not ready to do a full xcode reinstall yet. GS is till publishing OK and I can use the Configuration utility to delete or install new prov files.
