Using windows 8, have a test game built. It has touch controls so I want to test it on my iphone. I had a mac, didnt like it much so now on a windows machine.
Ive been looking up tutorials and searching for hours to no avail. Best answer I can find is that I cannot test my game with the current setup, only publish it to the itunes store to test ad hoc.

Is this the only way in my case?
Thanks

in order to publish and test anything on the mac side, you need a mac. no way around it. You can try macincloud.com as an alternative, but you can't get around the mac requirement. You need Xcode to sign the package, whether it's submitting to iTunes or creating an adhoc build.

Just as @jonmulcahy said! The only way to publish or even test on any iOS device is with a Mac. It requires certificates, provisioning profiles, Xcode, Keychain access and Application Loader which all is only on a Mac. And incase you are wondering, Hackintosh (Mac running on PC) does not work. NO way around it.
  • Fracking apple... so can the test I built on windows be converted to the mac version of gamesalad? or do i start from scratch?
