Problems with speed in Accelerometer

In my game I use accelerometer,
but when I move right or left, it moves very fast without stopping.
How can I fix this?

    Do you want it to accelerate or do you want to have it a certain speed.
    Then use change attribute self.moiton.linear velocity.x to -200 or 200(or something)

    I want it to accelerate but it goes away when it start moving and I can't control it..it just "flying" around on the screen..there is way to fix that?

    You have to put it in a rule? If a key is pressed or if an attribute is true, accelerate.
    I dont know what kind of game you have but make sure it also stops accelerating. Place a floor when its gravity and place it in a rule when its moving
