why no index attribute for windows?

im still struggling to understand why there isnt an index attribute for windows? i mean its rather difficult having to replace it with an integer sometimes

    Really? It's the same process for making each one. Or are you talking in relation to a template?

    @FryingBaconStudios i know they are both used for the same things, but the index is better for the number cant go below 0 in some cases yes this could be a relation to some templates, like why does mac have both index and integer?

    I never understood that myself but I know there are some issues as to attribute types and windows especially decimal places.

    mmm well i guess its not a pain having to use integers but it would be great to have the option to use an index.
