Preview Anomaly

Hi all,

I have a scene in my game where you touch stones and move them around, the problem I have is that in the preview the stones don't move in the iPhone 5 and Kindle platforms, but they do in legacy and iPad.

Unfortunately I don't have a iPhone 5 or Kindle devices to test on.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Is it likely to be a GS preview anomaly that will work on the actual devices?

Cheers for any help!

    Is your move rule based on the screen dimensions somehow? I'm fairly certain the preview platforms are only different in terms of scene size and nothing else.

    Hi @tatiang,

    Thanks for answering

    No, it's based on the follow touch and keep collision template that Tshirt did.

    I've had this kind of thing before (touch not registering), but only when the preview size is 50%.

    I figured that was because it was too small to register the mouse click, but as you know the screen size for Kindle is far larger than the iPhone Legacy which is registering the touch ok.

    I've definitely experienced strange behavior at either 50% or 100% preview size but usually one or the other worked properly.

    @tatiang,

    I should add that the game is Universal and that touch is working on the above platforms when the camera is not adjusted.

    But when the camera origin Y is -95 the stones don't move.

    Do you think adjusting the camera origin would affect touch when it's on an actual device?
