Performance question

Hi everyone,

I've downloaded GS mainly to play with it a little bit with my nephew and got really intrigued by it. I really like the workflow and the speed at which you can create things.

I understand GS still doesn't use sprite sheets which from what I know are essential for mobile performance, and also this new native engine that I have seen in videos from a year ago but is still not released, are some of my concerns.

My question is simple. Is GS able to maintain a steady 60 fps on a medium/complex iPad/iPhone game? Can you recommend a game with really good performance (and that doesn't suffer from garbage collection shutter) that I can get from the AppStore?
