Hey everyone,

As many of you may have heard, we are working with Intel, Samsung and appbackr to bring the best GameSalad games over to the Tizen platform. Tizen is a new open source mobile platform set to launch soon and GameSalad developers have the opportunity to be one of the first to get their games in the store.

In addition to tapping into a new revenue stream, we're working with our partners to bring you a variety of awesome incentives.

For each game successfully published to the Tizen store, you will receive $50 and 3 free months of Pro!

We're also working with appbackr to identify the highest quality games and apps by assigning a quality score to your game and the highest scoring apps can receive up to an additional $1,750 per game!

    pretty sure you can ignore those errors

    I ported 10 apps to Tizen so far, i gotta say that most of the edits I had made to port to Windows 8 / Android made the process pretty easy. I wish I had a device to test on thought. I've seen wispers online about flashing Tizen to an existing samsung device, so I gotta read more into those.

    From our Tizen engineer:

    "They aren't really build errors. The Tizen IDE has a JavaScript validator that runs on the source files. The engine source is obfuscated and optimized so the validator just chokes on it.

    But nothing is really being "built" because the JS code is interpreted. The IDE allows you to ignore errors and it will still make a valid app. It's also possible to disable the validator through the IDE settings, which makes the build step faster."

    We don't have a set date, but our platform partners can keep it going as long as they want or let us know if they're satisfied once the channel is bustling with activity. It's in your best interests to get onto the platform sooner rather than later, all other things being equal.

    But better games will also score higher incentives, so it's all a balance ;)

    New games do, yes. For games already published to iOS or Android, appbackr was able to score them ahead of time.

    @timolapre1998 I had an underscore in my password which I created in the Tizen IDE before importing the game. When I changed this I was able to ignore the other errors and the .wgt file was created in my workspace. Before I did this the it would build but not create the .wgt file.

    No, all users can publish to Tizen absolutely free!

    Can you define "highest scoring apps"? How high do we have to get?
    edit: on the website is has offers on apps above 8.5 so I assume thats it.

    @blue_elephant I got a score of 9 and it was 220 bonus and a score of 6.6 and it was a 29 dollar bonus. You do the math. Judging from what I just told you, I'm thinking it has to be above 5 to get a extra bonus.

    Actually, apps under that threshold may have incentives as well, they will just be a lot lower. Not sure what the $0 threshold is off the top of my head.

    During this promotion publishing to Tizen is FREE for all GameSalad users.
    It seems like a temporary thing.

    hmm none of my apps are on appbackr already (all published to iOS, nook and amazon)

    Just put 10 of my apps on Tizen's store...hope approval time doesn't take too long

    Is the judging of the apps worth based solely on the appbackr score?

    As I have uploaded a new app which will very likely have no score.

    i think if there is no score it will be scored upon submission.

    uploaded my app as well :) ( @tenrdrmer ) how long does Tizen take to submit it? after submitting how long does it take to get the 3 months pro and get the money?

    EDIT: less then 5 minutes after uploading I got an email with: 'Validation will start soon' :)

    really awesome we now also can publish to Tizen! really cool :)

    @dgackey a quick question, 2 of my apps have been approved and i was wondering if we have to notify you when our apps are published in order to get the incentives?
