errors when uploading binary to apple

jarbaz1jarbaz1 Member Posts: 1
Hi,
I am new to the whole uploading games to apple as this is my first one.

I am finding it difficult to upload my game to apple because everytime I go to upload the binary in application loader I get the following three errors,
1) Apples web service operation was not successful
2) Unable to authenticate the package 796436955.itmsp
3) Error ITMS - 9000 "No .app bundles found in the package" at SoftwareAssets/SoftwareAsset (MZltmspSoftwareAssetPackage)

I thought this would have all been ok, I created the new provisioning profiles, filled out all the information on game salad and itunes connect etc.

If anyone can offer any help that would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Jarrad

did you zip up the file before uploading it?

Yeh, I downloaded the file from the gamesalad publishing page and it was in a zipped file so I just used that one.

that's your problem then. that zipped file your downloading is just a copy of your project. You need to click on the sign app button, which will download the compiled app, sign it using your provisioning profile and prompt you where to save it. after that you right click on the file and choose 'compress'. this will create a .zip file in the same location. That is the file you want to upload.
