hi can gamesalad use to create turn based game like a chess? Thinking to create a turn based ball game, whichever pawn is nearer to the ball up when the ball landed on the field will pick it up.

On the same device - yes. Very easily. On multiple devices over the internets - yes, soon. They've just added async multiplayer to the nightly builds.

I have done a couple local turn based games. Looking forward to async multiplayer.

No it isn't. It's available as a preview in the nightly builds for Pro members only.

GameSalad themselves are very insistent that nightly builds are not for production.

Well actually, if it works, you can use it for production (if a pro member). There's no problem with that as they have stated. But the safe bet is to wait for a stable build if you are unsure. The big lettering at the bottom of the creator protects them from a bombardment of "you ruined my game! It doesn't work!"

It may end up being a pro only feature anyway. They have never stated it would be a free level product. Besides it's going to take time to learn it anyway so what not experiement and start learning now?
