Gamesalad Iphone controls

Hi, I am new to Gamesalad and want to make a mario type app. I want to make it so that when you tilt the Iphone to the left it moves the character to the left and the same thing for moving to the right. I think I know how to make it so that the character jumps when the screen is tapped. Is all of this possible, and if so, how?
