Download confusion

I am running a windows 8 laptop that I believe is 64 bit. The download I am installing is giving me a dmg. file and I am confused why it would give me the mac file. Is there another place I download this or does it even run on windows? Im probably missing something really simple but was wondering is someone could help. Thanks in advance! :D

    The automatic download is for Mac. Click the panel that says download for windows instead
