How to remove an actor touching another actor

Started with GS a couple of days ago, now working on my first project.

I have set an actor to destroy itself on a random basis between 1 and 30 seconds, gradually revealing the picture placed behind it. What I want to achieve is to remove this actor (overlay) completely when you guess the right answer.

Thanks in advance

You need to have a rule that triggers the destroy, so when you give the correct answer you change eg. Game.correctanswer to 1

In the overlay actor, place a rule that says :

    When game.correctanswer= 1
    Destroy this actor.

I really recommend looking through the cookbook here:

    http://cookbook.gamesalad.com

    And the channel on youtube

    http://m.youtube.com/user/GameSaladCookbook

    Covers pretty much everyting.

    Thanks a bunch!

I had previously read through the cookbook without much effect. I got the whole attribute thing right now, I'm surprised I haven't found GS earlier.

Checkout my youtube site I have 100 videos on GS. My logic series is a great place to start learning how to do logic coding.
