Splash Screen Flashes Retina Size First

I have a game that loads attributes on a Splash scene. I also have a custom splash image setup in the publishing portal. When I launch my app with a test/production build, the custom splash image flashes on the screen without being scaled to the device screen size...then the Splash scene is displayed (which is at the correct size). Is there a setting that the custom splash screen image is using in the GS project to determine it's scaled size?

    it could be a bug, do you have RI checked in your project? Did you upload a RI sized image to the portal?

    if it is a bug, make sure you submit a ticket.

    It's build for android so no RI. I guess the Retina was a misuse of term. My scene size is 600x1004 (for some reason) and the game screen size is 535x611. Not sure why these numbers are the way they are. My project is set for Kindle Fire Portrait. Are these sizes accurate? I thought the Kindle Fire was 600x1024 native.

    edit: Also the splash screen image size in the project file is 800x1280 and the custom splash screen is uploaded at 600x1024. I wonder if that's my problem...
