Problems with the installation

in Working with GS (PC)
When Installing the program I get the following error:

Matroska Splitter mandatory prerequisite was not correctly installed.

Anyways to solve this issue?

    merged duplicate thread.

    I'd uninstall GS
    then manually install the prerequisite. a quick google found this:

    Hi, there is nothing to uninstall since GS did not install at the first place. I having the same problem. I have tried installing the splitter that come shipped with the installer as well as by getting it from Matroska. I can confirm that the splitter is present in the computer but GS keeps saying "Matroska Splitter mandatory prerequisite was not correctly installed", stops without installation. It's very frustrating. Windows GS installer is quite buggy. I would appreciate any help.
