Unable to open the Game Salad Download

in Working with GS (PC)

I'm using a Windows computer and just downloaded Game Salad what can I do so that it allows me to open it and use it?

    @zrosenblatt‌ this is a long-running and irritating bug that we should fix. The website doesn't recognize that you're on a Windows PC and is sending you the Mac binaries. Go here instead:

    You may be mistakenly downloading the Mac version of Creator. Try this link: http://gamesalad.com/download?platform=windows.

    I didn't realize you had two threads open for the same issue. Please don't create multiple threads. I've merged them.

    Where is it asking for a password? If you're creating an account, then you would choose the password but seeing as how you're already a forums member I don't think that's necessary. Can you provide a screenshot or a description of what you're seeing?

    There is a blue cube in the upper left hand corner of a small rectangular pop up that in the middle says Password and below it a spot to enter the password in and then under that I can choose either ok or cancel. Thank You for all of your help.

    Does this occur right after you click the Download button? Or is this after you download and double-click the .exe file? Or at some other point in the process?

    It occurs when I hit the download button and then immediately pops up after I hit run
