Ok i have a game, the basic is i have a actor (A man) and he is at the top of the screen falling down. I have applied a move attribute to him so he is going downtowards the ground. It is at the direction of 270. My problem is that he keep going down (as i want) but in the direction or SE so as he comes down he move of to the right also ! Every time i hit the Left button instead od just moving him left i have to keep hitting left to keep him in the screen! Someone please help if i can get this fixed then its off to google play... Need help ASAP. Thank you so much if anyone helps! Need this problem fixed ! I be share to respond to each comment on if it worked or not... thanks ! Get commenting please !

Could you show screenshots of your issue and rules? Give us a better understanding of what you mean

Do you happen to have a Gravity value (on the X axis) set in the Scene Tab?

No, I dont i move my character downward by the Move (270) ? Should i put gravity on instead and try that ?

The move should work fine. I was just asking you to check. If you had at one point applied gravity pulling your actors to the side it might be effecting your move behavior.

There are lots of ways to do 'downward' movement, if you wanted to try Gravity instead go for it. See if it works better for you. You could also consider a Change Attribute and change the actors LinearVelocity.Y to a negative number.

I tried the gravity.. Still the same problem.. Ill try the linear veolcity next.

If you want to share a screen shot of your rules as suggested above that would help too. Or even share your file, I'd be happy to take a peek at it.

I would but i don't really want anyone stealing my idea.. I've seen screen shots and discription of game so far to google and they like it and want me to send them the file when complete to do a test. Im re doing the game atm ill comment again tomarrow and if im still stuck ill share screen shots !

Ok Fixed it !!! Nother problem though ! When the actor moves to the right. The background is supposed to keep moving downward and so is my player. As soon as i hit left or the right button to move my player the background stops with the player.. when i let go he continues to fall with the background... How can i fix this ?

That all depends on how your rules are set up, you'd have to share the details on them to get any help.

Hey ther I've renamed your thread to be appropriate. Please in the future make your thread titles relevant to your problem. More people will look at them and likely offer help.

Also move it to the proper category you placed it in a section meant for "looking to hire" your help.

And as others have stated we have to see the rules and such to know what's up. It doesn't sound like you are doing anything earth shattering behavior wise so I'm not sure how a rules and behaviors screen shot is going to allow someone to steal your game. We don't need actual gameplay. We need to see the rules inside your actor.
