Impostors! - My first Gamesalad app on the appstore - Free
Hey everyone,
I've been using Gamesalad for almost a year, tinkering here and there and overall falling in love with it. Over the last few weeks I developed my first app intended to be released and it's finally been approved! It's still got a few bugs here and there, mainly with Gamecenter not logging in at the right time, and posting to twitter as well, but the update to fix these bugs is now waiting for review.
Anyway, here's the link (it's free, ad supported):
And here is a screenshot:
Feedback will be greatly appreciated, I hope you enjoy the app!

Looks awesome! Sorry I haven't got a phone at the moment to test it out but I've had a look at the previews.
It really reminds me of a game (cant remember what it's called) I used to play as a child.
Really Really Like the artwork would you mind me asking who's done it?
Thanks! Everything, except the fonts, was made by yours truly in photoshop
Oh wow Nice Work!
Impossible Impostors! That is HARD. I like the idea, though. Gonna keep practicing...
Yeah, nice idea but HARD!
Nice. Looks like an interesting concept. Nice work.
nice graphics, but VERY hard
If I could give just one advice ... it would be!
Release it for iPad.
iPad is responsible for over 80% of games sales!
A really hard game but good approach! Congrats!!!
I am leaving my 5 stars on Apple!
Thanks everyone! Really glad you enjoy the concept
Will do!
Great game! Taps right into that 'Flappy Bird' one touch, mega difficult game mechanic - without actually being a rip off. Really impressed. As ebookmania said - get it onto iPad and then hope the app-Gods are watching!
So not fair, can't even get passed 6 lol
Brilliant!
Much of what I was trying to achieve was that simple one touch play, I believe most people trying to recreate Flappy Bird game went straight to the rip-off instead of really researching what made it so addictive, and you sum it up quite nicely:
"One touch, difficult game mechanic."
At least that's what I think. Now... coming up with a fresh one touch mechanic... THAT'S the hard part
Thank you every one once again for your comments, I expected nothing less of this great community (Insert shameless "but if you could leave the app itself a review, that'd be great!" here).
Cheers!
I bet nobody can beat my 8!!!
Will this be released for android too?
You must be a fan of "they live" awesome game love it.
Working on it as well, I dread the process a little as I don't even have an Android developer account, and there are so many resolutions... but I'll definitely do it
Thanks! Let's just say I was having bit of struggle coming up with ideas when the movie showed up on TV
@JRRC I would set it as a iPhone 5 project and use the stretch feature for android, it should turn out good.
I love that movie and would of honestly never thought of making that into a game. You have a great mind their.
Thanks, I'll give that a try.
@LordTarantor

, pretty fun game, it does have the flappy bird feel though, I cant wait for people to get off of that and some new more original good games to come out.
@BonepileGames
lol
I just got 12!
I don't even know how...
@Motive

You gotta just focus on the scanner, youll see a bunch of greens go through and get lost focus on the scanner and the next red one that comes out get back in your groove
I will say though its annoying when you open the game and hit play the game center thing comes up and take you back to the main menu, Ive seen that on alot of games though is there a fix to that when making your games?
That's one of the bugs I fixed for the new version, turned out to be some faulty logic on my part.
Very nice! I'll take a crack at it tonight!
@jrrc sounds good
Quick update: just finished the iOS universal build, so I pulled down the current version waiting for review and added the new one to support iPad as soon as possible, as per @ebookmania's suggestion.
Hey @JRRC , I noticed that when you quit the app and go back in, the high score is reset to 0. I'd really love to see that fixed so the 'Best" scores are maintained.
Other than that, it's a really great game! Awesome job
