Universal binary help

I'm trying to create a universal app for iPhone/ipad, but I don't see how it's done.
I tried searching the forums... and this page is linked to often:
https://help.gamesalad.com/hc/en-us/categories/200134158/tutorials/1/parts/50

But that link doesn't work for me.

~~This page has info on overscanning, is that all there is to it? Anything need to be done before hand?
https://help.gamesalad.com/hc/en-us/articles/201907857-1-5-Aspect-Ratios-and-You-

Other articles seem to use unofficial routes, but universal binaries are listed as an official feature here:
http://forums.gamesalad.com/discussion/53447/introducing-ios-universal-binaries

Can someone point me to some documentation, or a tutorial on this?

Hi, I'm having the same problem. I created an iPad version, I published it, and then I realized it wasn't universal, it said "Only for iPad". I created an iPhone version of the game, but I can't figure out how to publish it. Do I need a new Apple provisional file or am I supposed to use the same as I used for the iPad provisional file? Does anyone know?

You need to publish under iOS Universal in the GameSalad publishing portal.
