It might be a good idea to include a link to this post and the thread it's in: http://forums.gamesalad.com/discussion/comment/471187/#Comment_471187. It explains that all four were in a single class focused on Flappy Bird. Because when I played all four games I was suddenly suspicious that four different people had created them and also wondered why all four were almost exact clones of Flappy Bird.
@tatiang I'm their teacher. Their original project was to create a Flappy type game, but with their own twists. When I teach gamesalad, my students and I program the games together. That's why they are nearly identical in those aspects. They had total control over a game design, themes, artwork, and any programing changes they wished. That's why you have, a Dragon, Football, Devil and a Bee as main characters. This has been a total of 4 week build for them. Including a 6 hour redesign to fix lockable levels and sound controls and 2 new level design. Thanks!
@Radcompany Yes, I realized that once I read that thread and it's understandable that students in the same class would create similar results. But without that context, I was confused. Great to hear about other teachers using GameSalad in their classes!
@tatiang Been using it for several years. I'm a member of the GS Educator Panel headed by Dan Magaha. I'm also part of the Education: Stories for Real Teachers. You can read about my students, myself and school here: http://gamesalad.com/education/stories-from-teachers
Wish we had a board for students to have a monthly contest!

Ditto!
I do want to have another contest. The next one will have a theme so your students have an equal op to work on a similar game. I may even provide my own template (free) to work on...if you think that would be a good idea. I dont want to mess up your own curriculum of course. No one is required to participate.
Glad to see votes coming in. Thanks you all ! :-)
Looks like Flappy Bee is well in the lead... if you haven't played any yet and would like to participate in the voting process the links are up top... :-)
Yes it does. Still time for others to play and vote!
