Sound formatting question

Sorry to ask what probably is a regular question, but I'm getting conflicting results. What file types are usable for sound and music in gamesalad? (Im using the PC version if that makes any difference.)

    I know that .mp3 and .wav will import. That all I know. If its a long file like background music it should be imported as music. If sound effects like "pew pew...pepew" it should be used as a sound when importing.
