I've launched a new/updated website and as part of the launch I've added a small platformer tile set to the 'Free Game Assets' section of the site. Below is a preview of the full 14 tile set. If you want to get the higher resolution version, that is available from my new site linked in my signature below. Note my new site has a new name/url, it's at the end of my signature (and still in early development).
I posted a new tutorial today about creating enemies that will chase the player in an RPG style game while finding their way around on-screen obstacles.
The tutorial and source file is also available at my website.
cool I'll have to go through these, I just watched the first video on change rooms, really simple to understand, and I am glad GS Windows Creator has change scene by index now too.
Great job.
There have been a few mentions of Image Carousel style tutorials in the forums lately so I've put a project together that mimics the standard iOS style photo browser. It's a freebie on my site and also included here for download.
The video isn't a tutorial, just an overview of what you'll get in the free template.
I just released a set of 70+ free platform game style tiles and items. These could of course be used in any game type, not just platform games. Check out the samples and links below.
Excellent tutorials, well explained, nicely paced & perfect for a newbie like me. Helped a lot & really appreciate you sharing. The art is great !
thanks
