saw around the forums lately that people were having trouble with making a character selection option in their game. so i decided to make a template for it. Its not much, but it will help you beginners out there

@CodeMonster I just downloaded a bunch of these and spent most of Sunday examining them. They are truly fantastic and really enlightening. I thought I knew a bit, but these will teach me heaps that I didn't know. They have also inspired all sorts of ideas for games. Thanks so much.

BTW can you aim that missile at Abbott when he's in range? >:)

It is nice to hear that the free templates we upload are helping a lot of people with their games, this is the reason why I continue to make free templates.

this template is just a 2d platformer builder kit, every single actor is filled with a ton of notes explaining everything in great detail, it also includes a PDF explaining what each game attribute is used for.
world map level select, (by timo) is like a little super mario bros world select
vorex (by timo) is just a vortex time simulation.
3d stars (by timo) is a really nice freebie, it gives stars a nice 3d rotating effect.
keep actor inside circle (by timo) keeps the actor inside the circle, its easy keeping something out of a circle, but what about inside??
grid table spawner (by timo) exactly what it says, spawns actors in a certain location, depending on the table, great for a terraria type game.
to any moderator, if posting freebies in this thread isn't allowed, I apologize, just send me a pm and ill stop posting in this area.

These are just fantastic! The 3D stars is mesmerising. ... and the free platformer is awesome.
template which auto generates the fastest path from point A to point B in a maze using the “Path Find” behavior.
also includes more features like:
– Advanced custom table created level
– Grid movement
– MORE!
Move the green and red block around with the mouse.
Click the light blue actor in the left lower corner to create the fastest path from the green to the red actor.
just giving this thread a little bump for any new members, its been a while since we have released some templates, but don't worry, we'll be releasing a bucket load soon
